North of the Border Bicycles is an authorized Ellsworth, Intense, Marin, and Vassago brand bicycle dealer.

Our typical Ellsworth on-hand stock would be an Epiphany and either a Truth or Evolve.

Typical stock of Intense Cycles would be the 5.5 EVP and the 6.6 EVP.

Any bike from these lines can by custom ordered to tailor to your needs.    Our current stock reflects the bikes that are most popular here in San Diego.

Ellsworth and Intense are proudly handcrafted in the USA and have a higher price point than the foreign manufactured Marins and Vassagos.

Marin has 29er hardtails starting around $620 and 26” hardtails (with decent components) starting at $590.

Marin’s full suspension Quad XC models start at $1799 and a spec'd out Mount Vision at $2800. The Mount Vision was awarded Mountain Bike of the Year from Mountain Bike Action magazine last year.

Marin also has road bikes from $1000 to the $3800 range. The $2600 San Marino is full carbon and equipped with Ultegra 10 speed comes in weighing 17.5 lbs.

The Vassago line is the newest addition to the shop. They specialize in 29” wheeled bikes and 650B Bikes.
